What is Crosswell?
The name Crosswell was inspired by the history of Arlington, TX. Before it was known for such iconic landmarks, as Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Globe Life Field, Six Flags, and Hurricane Harbor, it was famous for its mineral water well, located a short ride from our church. The well was a place, where the community was gathering for its events. The structure around the well was in the shape of a cross, providing ways to the water from all directions, and serving as a place to rest. Our logo has preserved this shape, and the name reflects the fusion of the Cross, on which Jesus Christ died for all our sins, and the Well of the living water that represents the Holy Spirit that God. It symbolizes our desire to be the meeting place for the entire community to gather around Jesus and His Word, and receive His power, comfort, and vitality of His Spirit. Just like the Samaritan woman, we seek Jesus to give us the water of life (John 4:7-31).
