## What is Crosswell?

### Chrosswell is a new church plant in the heart of the DFW metroplex. You are invited to become a part of this exciting endeavor. We love you and strive to be the house of prayer for all people.

The name Crosswell was inspired by the history of Arlington, TX. Before it was known
for such iconic landmarks, as Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Globe Life Field, Six Flags,
and Hurricane Harbor, it was famous for its mineral water well, located a short 
ride from our church. The well was a place, where the community was gathering for
its events. The structure around the well was in the shape of a cross, providing
ways to the water from all directions, and serving as a place to rest. Our logo 
has preserved this shape, and the name reflects the fusion of the Cross, on which
Jesus Christ died for all our sins, and the Well of the living water that represents
the Holy Spirit that God. It symbolizes our desire to be the meeting place for the
entire community to gather around Jesus and His Word, and receive His power, comfort,
and vitality of His Spirit. Just like the Samaritan woman, we seek Jesus to give
us the water of life (John 4:7-31).

### Anatoliy Orgunov Ph.D.

Pastor

Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, Anatoliy Orgunov immigrated with his family to the United
States in 2001. He then moved from Florida to the great state of Texas in 2014, 
where he earned his Master’s degree and Ph.D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary. In addition to this ministry, he is also a professional frontend Web developer.

### Delton George

Deacon

Delton is an embodiment of a true servant's heart. He loves Jesus and His church
and always makes himself available should any need arise. He wears many hats. He
is a musician, electrician, and just an awesome person. Our church is truly blessed
by having him in our leadership.

### Joanna Schumacher

Administrator

Joanna is local to Arlington and is incredibly talented, organized, and passionate
about serving Jesus and His church. More than that, she has a genuine heart for 
people and a deep love for the Lord, which makes her such a joy to serve alongside.
Joanna has been a true blessing to Crosswell, and we are very grateful for the way
she serves and cares for others.
